DataGum — AI Media Monitoring Tool
Built an automation tool that fixed broken reporting workflows
+30% accuracy
Problem
Regional media outlets were consistently missing from client reports. Manual spot-checking couldn't keep up — smaller placements slipped through, making coverage reports incomplete and unreliable.
What I Did
Independently designed and built DataGum using N8N automation. Structured the scan-to-report pipeline: automated outlet tracking, structured output formatting, and clean draft generation — no manual oversight needed.
Result
+30% reporting accuracy. Reporting time cut significantly. The team adopted it without being asked — it just worked better than the old process. Still in active use.

2025 Outlander Launch
Full launch communications cycle — press, events, editorial
15+ outlets · 100% KPI
Problem
National launch of a refreshed vehicle model requiring coordinated press materials, event logistics across multiple cities, and editorial content — all within a tight launch window with zero margin for missed outlets.
What I Did
Distributed press materials to 15+ outlets. Coordinated the Montreal Auto Show and multi-city dealer events. Built KPI dashboards via Meltwater. Wrote editorial features for Mi Magazine Issue 5 including the Yamaha audio piece.
Result
Coverage across 15+ media outlets. ~20M estimated impressions. 100% KPI delivery across all tracked metrics. Editorial contributions noted by the brand team.
📖
Mi Magazine Editorial — Issue 5
Brand storytelling through editorial features, not product copy
3 features published
Problem
Brand magazine needed editorial content that felt like storytelling, not product spec sheets. The challenge: make technical features (audio systems, maintenance) feel human and readable for non-enthusiast drivers.
What I Did
Wrote and developed three editorial features: a piece on Yamaha premium audio integration (why sound design matters to daily commuters), a vehicle maintenance guide, and an owner profile built around brand storytelling.
Result
Three published features in Issue 5. The Yamaha audio piece was specifically noted by the brand team. Content positioned technical features as lifestyle narratives instead of product descriptions.

Medical Congress Series
Large-scale event logistics with zero margin for error
512+ attendees · 0 incidents
Problem
Multiple large-scale medical congresses requiring strict compliance, complex vendor coordination, and flawless execution. No room for logistics failures in a professional medical context.
What I Did
Full logistics ownership: venue selection, travel coordination for 500+ attendees, catering, compliance documentation, and run-of-show management. Built contingency plans at every node. KPI dashboards delivered within 24 hours of event close.
Result
Black Sea Rheumatology Congress: 512 attendees. Multiple events delivered with zero major incidents. Post-event reporting completed within 24h. Repeat engagement from clients.

⚡ Lead Story — AI & Strategy
The AI tools that actually changed how communications teams work in 2024
Analysis · 4 min read
Not the ones that got the press release. The ones that got quietly adopted because they solved a real problem — faster media monitoring, cleaner reporting drafts, less time spent on grunt work that used to eat three hours of every Tuesday. DataGum fits here. So does every tool that made the output better without making the process more performative.
🤖
PR · Campaign
The Barbie campaign wasn't luck. It was a system.
Campaign analysis
Timing, world-building, and disciplined repetition. The lesson isn't "be bold" — it's that every touchpoint was deliberate, documented, and connected to the next one.
AI · Ethics
Why brands suddenly care about AI ethics — and what that actually means
Brand messaging
When technology moves faster than trust, communications has to step in and translate risk. The brands doing this well aren't moralising — they're just ahead of the backlash curve.
Strategy · Culture
Attention is cheap. Trust is the actual metric.
Media trends
Virality and credibility are not the same thing and treating them as interchangeable is how brands burn spectacularly. The difference is everything after the first glance.
PR · Events
What the Montreal Auto Show taught me about media execution
Field notes · Mitsubishi
15+ outlets, one launch window, zero room for vague briefs. The run-of-show is not a schedule — it's a system with owners, backups, and timelines at every node.
AI · Workflow
Building DataGum: what actually happened
Behind the build
It wasn't an AI experiment. It was a workflow fix. Regional outlets were getting missed, reports were slow, accuracy was off. N8N + structure + clear output = 30% improvement and a team that adopted it without being asked.
Campaign · Culture
The problem with "authentic" content is that most of it isn't
Content strategy
Authenticity became a brand strategy, which is the exact moment it stopped being authentic. The content that actually lands is specific, not performed — it says something instead of signalling it.
PR
Editorial is not decoration
Good editorial makes complicated things legible without making them simple. Mi Magazine Issue 5 wasn't a product description — it was a story about why sound design matters to drivers who spend 40 minutes in their car every morning.
Strategy
Campaigns are systems, not moods
Inputs, timing, context, audience logic, distribution, follow-through. Not decorative assets with motivational captions. A campaign without structure is a mood board with a budget.
Culture · AI
AI won't replace taste
It accelerates options. It cannot save people from choosing ugly, vague, lifeless ones. The tool is only as sharp as the instinct behind it — and that instinct still has to exist first.
Strategy
Istanbul → Toronto: what the move actually changed
Not the language. The rhythm. How people make decisions, how meetings flow, what silence means in a room. The pattern recognition muscle still works — it just calibrates to a new system.

Yes, this is part of System Preferences too. It should have been here from the start instead of hiding in Control Panels like a guilty secret.
